Here, the Caribbean sweeps out from the heated infinity pool – it's the kind of view you keep returning to at different hours. Beneath a vaulted timber ceiling, the living room opens directly onto that same outlook, with an alfresco dining terrace catching the trade winds. Each of the four en-suite bedrooms has its own private terrace and sitting area, while a media room and fitness room mean there's no shortage of ways to spend the slower hours.

* The two lower-level bedrooms are reached via a glass staircase, so guests staying in those rooms will be going between levels regularly during their visit.
* The villa sits on a hillside above Marigot Bay, so you'll need a car to reach the beach, restaurants, and shops.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
* Also included with your stay is a personalised welcome at St-Jean Airport or Gustavia Port.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair at no additional cost. You'll need to request them in advance.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
