Perched on the elevated heights of Camaruche above Lorient Bay, this villa is built around one of the most compelling views in Saint-Barthélemy – the kind that greets you at breakfast and turns golden by the time dinner is served. The living and dining rooms open directly onto the terrace, where a heated infinity pool seems to spill straight into the Caribbean. Every bedroom has ocean views and its own en-suite bathroom, while daily housekeeping means the details of your stay are quietly handled from the moment you land.

Home truths:
* The main bedroom sits on the upper level alongside the living and dining areas, while the other two bedrooms are on the lower level – so guests in different rooms will be on separate floors. The lower-level bedrooms share a terrace
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. You'll need to request these in advance.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
* Also included with your stay is a personalised welcome at St-Jean Airport or Gustavia Port.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
