Perched on the hillside above Grand-Cul-de-Sac, this villa is arranged across three separate buildings, each one stepping down through palms and tropical gardens toward a long pool terrace where the Caribbean sea and lagoon shimmer beyond the deck. The open-sided living room catches the trade winds on three sides, making it feel less like a room and more like a pavilion. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower – two in a lower bungalow with ocean views, one above the main level looking over the garden. Daily housekeeping and on-request staff, from a private chef to a yoga teacher, cover everything else.

* This home is set across three buildings which are connected by exterior stairs and outdoor walkways, so you'll be stepping outside every time you move between the bedrooms and the main living space – worth bearing in mind if you're travelling with young children or anyone with limited mobility.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can arrange a cot, high chair, and babysitter on request.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
