Swim above the Amalfi coastline with an ancient hilltop fortress watching over you – that's the view from this restored 19th-century villa, and it sets the tone for everything else. Inside, vaulted stone archways and candlelit dining rooms give the villa a grandeur that feels earned rather than staged, while sea-view terraces framed by lemon groves make it almost impossible to stay indoors. Amalfi itself is close enough to explore, but with a private pool, landscaped gardens, and bespoke services – from private chefs to wellness treatments – you may never need to leave.

* The pool is only open from 1st May to 31st October, so if you're visiting outside those months you won't have access to it.
* A daily housekeeping service is included here, with linen changes twice weekly. Professional garden maintenance and daily pool cleaning is also included.
* The villa spans four levels connected by a grand staircase – worth keeping in mind if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
* You'll need to contact your host at least two days before arrival to arrange check-in.
* You're on the Amalfi Coast, where roads are famously narrow and winding. Private parking is included at the villa, but we recommend researching the drive in advance if you're arriving by car – or considering a transfer from Naples or Salerno instead.
