Tucked into a leafy community, this coastal house offers a sense of retreat just a short walk or bike ride from the sugar-white sands of 30A. Inside, soaring double-height ceilings and rich hardwood floors set a warm, unhurried mood, while the main suite's private balcony looks out over lush tropical landscaping. A boardwalk gives direct beach access, and from March through October every stay comes with a beach service set – two chairs and an umbrella – already sorted. For evenings back at the house, a fireplace and outdoor fire pit give the night somewhere to settle.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the daybed in bedroom three. With a king-size bed as well, this room works well for a couple sharing with a child.
* For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
* There's free parking for up to three cars here.
