It’s a 500m stroll to the waterfront, where you can follow the promenade straight to the soft-sanded beach. By the water, you’ll find a healthy selection of bars, restaurants and cafes to fuel beachy days.

The apartment itself is a charming medley of sleek modernism and boho touches. The monochrome kitchen has everything you need for self-catering and the cosy living area has raw wood touches and throws adding a bit of character. But the best thing has to be the private balcony, furnished with lounge furniture and a dinner table. This is where you really get the benefit of the sixth-floor location (don’t worry, there’s a lift in the building), overlooking the palm-lined street below all the way to the sea.
