Description Reef & Reef Park: Boca Raton

The beach is directly across the street – reached via a wooded walking path – and beach chairs, an umbrella, and towels are all included, so you can be on the sand within minutes of arriving. Back at the apartment, a private balcony catches the ocean breeze from sunrise well into the afternoon, and the shared pool has a barbecue for alfresco evenings under the palms. Mizner Park and Red Reef Park are within walking distance, making this a easy base for whatever pace of trip you have in mind.

Home truths:
* The fifth sleeping space is a single sofa bed in the living room – comfortable for one guest but worth bearing in mind if you're travelling as a group of five, as that person will be sleeping in the shared living area.
* You'll have access to the on-site swimming pool and barbecue here. They're shared with the building's other residents.
