Perched in Lurin with the bay of St-Jean stretching out ahead, this villa is built around a view you'll want to wake up to every morning. The infinity pool faces that same panorama – swim a length and you're eye-level with the Caribbean horizon and the surrounding hills. Inside, a high wooden ceiling spans the living and dining room, where an indoor waterfall cools the air and the whole front of the space opens directly onto the terrace. Daily housekeeping, a barbecue for alfresco evenings, and on-request services from private chef to yoga teacher mean the pace of a stay here is entirely your own.

* You'll need a car to reach the villa and get around – the location in Lurin requires driving for groceries, beaches, and restaurants.
* The two main-level suites sit on either side of the living room, while the other two bedrooms are on the lower level – if your group wants to stay close together, bear the split layout in mind when you request room assignments.
* One of the four king-size beds is actually a twin that can be converted into a king – let your host know your preference before you arrive.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
* Also included with your stay is a personalised welcome at St-Jean Airport or Gustavia Port.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
