Perched on a hillside in Petite Saline, this villa is built around one of the most rewarding views in Saint-Barthélemy – Lorient Bay, the neighbouring islands of St. Martin and Anguilla, and sunsets that unfold directly from the terrace. The half-moon infinity pool runs the full width of the front deck, so you're essentially swimming above the bay. Come evening, the gazebo dining terrace is the place to be, with a barbecue and space for eight guests as the light drops behind the islands. Daily housekeeping and a roster of on-request services – private chef, butler, yoga teacher – mean the pace of the stay is entirely yours to set.

* All four king-size beds can be converted into twin beds – let your host know your preference before you arrive.
* One of the two lower-level bedrooms is slightly smaller than the others – it works well for a teenager or a member of staff.
* There's a heated outdoor swimming pool here. Pool heating is available between 15th November and 30th April.
* Housekeeping is provided daily except on Sundays and public holidays. Towels are swapped every two days and bed linen every three days.
