Don’t let the rustic interior here fool you – this is the perfect setting for a family holiday or dreamy getaway with a group of friends, boasting plenty of indoor and outdoor living space for kicking back and relaxing with all your favourite people. As much as we love this home’s architectural features – particularly the vaulted ceilings that make you feel as though you’re wandering the halls of an ancient castle – it’s the tree-lined patio that steals the show. We could easily see ourselves spending all day out here, dangling our feet in the pool as we bask in the glorious sunshine, but if you fancy something less sedate, Monopoli’s within easy reach and is home to one of the most fascinating archaeological museums in the country. Unleash your inner Indiana Jones, then come home and cool off on the terrace, the perfect place for a spot of alfresco dining before the sun goes down. Slice of focaccia, anyone?
