In a salmon-pink old palazzo, this lovely home is a real find. Relax with a glass of Prosecco on the southwest-facing altana, a typical Venetian rooftop terrace, and take in the views over the Venice’s rooftops. Inside, we love the high-vaulted, loft-style living space with its sun-bleached eau de nil and parched papyrus hues. Take a seat on the L-shaped sofa and plan your Venice itinerary. This home is in genteel San Samuele, dotted with galleries and antique shops. Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art and Campo Santo Stefano are both a three-minute stroll. St. Mark’s Square is nine minutes on foot, while Palazzo Mocenigo on the Grand Canal, once the Venetian bolthole of romantic poet and literary figure Lord Byron, is fifteen minutes.
