The open-plan area is such a perfect social spot, so as everyone gathers at the table to exchange stories from the day, dinner can be gently simmering away in the kitchen. With all of the outdoor activities this area promises (six glaciers and sixty-three summits in this little village alone), a hearty meal will be just what you need to refuel after a fun-filled day. After dinner, settle down on the sofa, wrap a blanket around you and enjoy a warming cup of hot chocolate – whipped cream and marshmallows are a must. As night calls, take your happy, weary limbs to bed where the peace and quiet of the mountains will help you to drift off into an effortless slumber. As the next day dawns crisp and clear, throw back the covers and head to the kitchen, first stop – the coffee machine. When it’s time to venture out, you’re just 500 metres from the slopes, where a day of memory-making surrounded by glorious mountain views awaits.
