This apartment within an old farmhouse is island living, Dutch-style. A six-minute drive sees you at the sweeping sands of Texel’s unspoilt coast, for long walks and paddling in the sea. Here, you’ll also find the famous outdoor cafés for summer days outdoors. The charming square, cafés and supermarkets of De Cocksdorp are all a fifteen-minute walk away. Or, perhaps take to two wheels to discover the island. This place has bike storage after all. Big enough for family gatherings, there’s a cosy farmhouse vibe to this apartment. Wood-beamed ceilings and a rustic fireplace in the living room hark back to days gone by and the vaulted roof and candelabra in the dining room is all class. Apart from the dedicated, living room downstairs, there’s also a mezzanine seating area so the group can spread out. Heading outside, you’ll find a private terrace with outdoor dining and fabulously lush shared gardens with a swing set for kids, ping pong and a volleyball net.
