With sweeping views of olive groves, this home offers an Umbrian escape 2 kilometres from a pizzeria-boasting village. Traditional cherrywood and terracotta make the interiors feel a bit dated, yet we love the grounds here. While the path down to the gated pool may not suit all guests, a vine-wrapped pergola and sunny seating areas offer lovely hangout spots. Depending on your group, the bedrooms can be set up as doubles or twins. Hiring a car is necessary, but Perugia and other hilltop villages are a short drive away.

Home truths
While some of the bedrooms and bathrooms aren’t photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
Groups of eight or fewer will have access to only four bedrooms.
The single beds can be set as doubles upon request. For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here, but there's a 50-metre path leading to the pool.
The gated swimming pool is only available to use between the end of May and the end of September – speak to your host for the exact dates. One bathroom is in the pool house, containing a shower, WC, and changing rooms.
The traditional interiors feel a bit dated.
There’s free private parking here. We recommend hiring a car.
