While the neighbourhood is tranquil and authentic and the home bright and spacious, it's the views that we keep coming back for every time. A couple after quintessentially Parisian romanticism will find this home hits the spot with its mix of old and new, a style reminiscent of its timeless French elegance.

Home truths:
* We recommend bringing earplugs as the waste collectors can be loud late into the night
* Since the photoshoot, some of the furnishings have changed – the chestnut sofa has been replaced with a velvet green sofa
* The Juliet balcony is ideal to admire the view but there is no proper outdoor space
* Telly-addicts beware – the TV is on the small side so it's not really suitable for long movie nights
* There is no air-conditioning but fans can be provided
