If you're planning a trip over to Puglia in the near future, why not book Trulli such as these so you can do it in style? We use the plural Trulli because you don't just get one of the famed conical roofs, but a total of three clusters in which the living quarters are spread between. Although they're certainly traditional, the interiors are by no means dated and dusty – in fact, a recent renovation treats guests to stark white walls, patterned tiling and bursts of bright colour, not to mention a large kitchen that's great for preparing feasts to be enjoyed out on the terrace. There's more to do outside than dine, by the way. The large swimming pool will keep you cool during the height of summer, while you can catch plenty of rays on one of the surrounding loungers. You can easily find a peaceful spot out in the garden, filled with olive trees and fragrant Mediterranean vegetation. And as if that wasn't enough, the home can boast of a wonderful spot on the map. The characterful towns of Cisternino and Ostuni both lie a short drive away, while Camerini Bay is only 16km away if you're ever in the mood for a paddle in the Adriatic Sea.

About Ostuni

You’ll probably spot Ostuni long before you reach the so-called White City of Puglia. It rises up on three hills, above the rust-red earth punctuated by olive trees. Shambling, narrow streets lead up the hillside to the crowning 12th-century Ostuni Cathedral. It’s a veritable labyrinth of ancient alleyways, where you can sample traditional Puglian fare like handmade orecchiette and oozing dollops of burrata in terrace restaurants, or taste a Salice...
