Set on a sprawling green estate, this quaint home on the Dutch coast is calling out to host your seaside adventure. Start with the lawn, for example, and all the imaginings children could conjure up in a garden that size – a fairy hidden in that shrub, a superhero running across the breadth and width of it. Fly a kite, practice scoring football goals, or go over dance routines with soft green grass beneath your feet. When lunchtime swings around, why not enjoy nibbles on the grass as an impromptu picnic. Inside more magic awaits – curl up with your favourite murder mystery podcast next to the crackling fire, claim the chair in the book nook for reading, set up a boardgames station on the kitchen table, sketch under the skylight in one of the bedrooms. Then, of course, there’s still the surroundings left to explore. Go to the beach for the day, or visit one of the two nature reserves. Hire bicycles if you haven’t brought your own, and take a twenty-three minute trip towards Westhove Castle, admiring the country houses along the way. For golfers, there’s also a course a sixteen-minute drive away. After a day building sandcastles, eating ice cream, and simply taking in the beautiful tranquillity of the area, return home to the panoramic views of meadows as you sit outside waiting for the sun to set.
