Get a bit of glitz in desirable Fitzrovia, just over a ten-minute walk from Oxford Circus and Oxford Street. It's around the same distance to the University College London Hospitals, while the theatres of the West End, Regent's Park, Trafalgar Square and the British Museum are within walking distance too. Of course, plenty of eateries are also on your doorstep, which is handy, as this home has a kitchenette with no hob or oven, but there's a microwave for preparing lighter bites. At full capacity, two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed, and while this place doesn’t necessarily have a homely feel, it makes for a comfortable stay in a fantastic location.

Home truths

The entrance to this home is shared with the building's other residents. There are two other apartments in this mews.

Guests three and four would be on a sofa bed in the living room – if you're looking for a home with ample space for socialising, we'd recommend this home for two guests only.

You won't find an oven or hob here – though there is a microwave. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.

Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some noise throughout your stay.

There's a Tesco and Lidl nearby.

About Fitzrovia

Wedged between Bloomsbury, Soho, Covent Garden and Marylebone, Fitzrovia is a haven for foodies, art lovers and shoppers alike. You'll be rubbing shoulders with stylish local architects, gallerists and other artsy animals every evening from 6pm onwards, either sipping a cocktail in a glamorous bar or having a pint in one of the many historic and characterful local pubs. The weekends are a bit quieter when the local workers disperse, which is a good time to stroll up to Regent's Park, marvel the glories of the British Museum or head to the shops on Oxford Street.
