Marvel at the breathtaking views of Lake Como at this tranquil lake-front retreat. There's a large, shared veranda that opens onto a small courtyard where you can enjoy your alfresco meals. There's also access to a small garden planted with gorgeous, scented lavenders, while in the winter, pretty camellias flower. The vistas are incredible from the stone table here – you can see the lakeshore from Como to Cernobbio, from Villa d'Este up to Villa Fontanelle in Moltrasio. Once a barn, the home has lovely character features such as exposed stone walls and white painted beams, which we adore. It's decorated with Lombard style furniture, vintage objects and hand-embroidered linens. Pop some vinyl on the turntable and relax on the comfy sofa in the living space or whip up a risotto in the kitchenette to enjoy on the terrace. Out and about, the village of Blevio is a seven-minute stroll, while Como, with its Basilica di San Fedele and beautiful Giardini del Tempio Voltiano, is a twelve-minute drive away.
