A superb, stylish home in the Krimml area, known for its fabulous waterfalls, this place has all the bells and whistles when it comes to alpine retreats. From mountain views and modern furnishings to a ski storage room and a luxurious sauna, it's a perfect base to explore the beautiful Salzburgerland-Tyrol borders. Whether you're visiting in the summer for hiking, biking and paragliding or in the winter for the excellent skiing at the nearby Zillertal Arena ski area, it's got everything you need and then some. Set over three levels, the living space is on the top floor to make the most of the views from its balcony – where a pair of Adirondack chairs invite you to come out and relax in the clear mountain air. Elsewhere, two of the comfy bedrooms open directly to the patio and lawned garden, and the basement houses a couple of surprises in the form of a ski storage room, table football and a high-spec sauna. With shops and restaurants within striking distance, and the waterfalls car park just minutes away, this mix of traditional design and modern comforts is in an excellent spot too.
