Renowned for its gastronomical contributions and the trademark pinkish colour of the buildings, Toulouse is a hub of food, architecture, arts and history, and only a short drive away from this beautiful home. When you’re not out eating foies gras or visiting the Canal du midi, you might be home enjoying a delicacy of another kind. Peace. Beautiful from one end to the other, this villa captures a bohemian spirit in wooden and woven elements, a neutral colour palette, and floral prints, but the crown jewel is undoubtedly the conservatory. Bookworms will especially love getting cosy on the sofa and reading in the light streaming in through the bi-fold doors – slide these open and enjoy the soft breeze as you devour romance novels with several cups of coffee. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table that also calls the conservatory home, but we suggest at least one picnic on the grassy lawn. Enjoy drinks on the terrace at sunset and sneak down into the kitchen to help yourself to leftovers at midnight. Stargaze, play board games in the living room, and snack at the kitchen island as you socialise over a glass of good regional wine.
