Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Just outside of Gaiole's idyllic town, serving authentic cuisine and Chianti wine, this hillside home offers pastoral vistas. There's an upside-down layout inside, putting the bedrooms below the living space, which opens out onto several terraces and a leafy garden with an infinity pool. While this villa welcomes dogs and allows for pampering with special services, there's no air conditioning. Plus, getting in and out of here is a bit tricky, as it calls for a confident driver to put road trips on the cards.

Home truths

There's no air conditioning here, so some groups may prefer to stay in the cooler months.

The swimming pool is only available for use between May and September, weather permitting. It also isn't fenced, so little ones will need to be supervised at all times.

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.

There’s free private parking here. Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. That said, there's an unpaved, uneven road to enter this home. And given the steep sections, it's suitable for experienced drivers only. Please discuss the details with your host.
