There’s something very special about this home. It oozes personality – and it’s easy to understand why Rune and Sophie love living here. Both are creative souls with curious minds, reflected in their collection of art/posters, vintage furniture from the 1950s and 1960s, and the lively colour palette. The immediate area is wonderful. Filled with independent boutiques, take-out places with extraordinary food, some of the city's most beloved brunch spots, and Michelin-starred restaurants, Nørrebro is perfect if you want to explore the artier side of Copenhagen.

*It sleeps three guests, but one of them would be on a futon in the living room
*We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited
*Be prepared to share the space with the host’s belongings – it’s a lived-in home
*In true Copenhagen fashion, the WC and bathroom are a little tired-looking – they could do with an update
*Not everyone will love the free work-out – it’s on the fourth floor with no lift (and it’s also split across two floors)
