Mauna Kea Vistas

Sitting on the golf course frontage of a private, gated resort, this villa – or pair of villas, taken together for larger groups – is built around the kind of indoor-outdoor living that Hawaii does best. Each has its own pool and lanai, with views across the fairways towards the ocean and Mauna Kea beyond. Complimentary access to a beach club puts a calm oceanfront cove, loungers, and seaside dining within easy reach, while 49 Black Sand Beach is a short walk away, and Hapuna and Mauna Kea beaches are a quick drive.

Home truths:
* This home comprises two adjacent villas.
* It's a tradition in Hawaii to remove your shoes before entering a home – you'll find this applies here too, so expect to go barefoot or bring slippers for indoors.
* An initial supply of soaps, cleaning supplies, and paper goods is provided, but you'll likely need to stock up on additional supplies during your visit – factor in a grocery run shortly after arrival.
* A car is recommended for getting around – the villas sit within a resort and while beaches are walkable, most errands and further afield attractions will require driving. Free on-site parking is available.
* The lead guest must be at least 21 years old.
