The main bedroom's vaulted ceiling gives the space a rare sense of height and calm, while a private outdoor nook is a sweet spot for morning coffee with a sea breeze. St Ives Harbour – where fishing boats and seals share the water – is five minutes on foot, and the restaurants around it are even closer.
Home truths:
* Though there's free parking here, it's only suitable for compact vehicles as it's very narrow. That said, we don't think a car is needed in St Ives – it's very easy to explore on foot here.
* The bedroom is upstairs, so this home won't suit guests with limited mobility.
