Firelight in Paradise

Six bedrooms, a private pool, a putting green, and a volleyball court – this Paradise Valley house is built for groups who want to fill their days rather than find things to do. Mornings are easy: step from the main bedroom straight into the garden, then spend the afternoon on the games lawn before the Arizona heat gives way to a cooler evening on the walled terrace, barbecue lit, outdoor fireplace going. When the day gets too warm, air conditioning and ceiling fans keep the interior comfortable for cooking and gathering in the generous living space.

Home truths:
* You'll need a car to make the most of your stay here. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are available, but the surrounding area is spread out and most dining, golf, and hiking are a drive away.
* The pool fence is a permanent fixture and must stay in place – it can't be removed during your stay, as it's required by Arizona state regulations.
* Security cameras are positioned at the front door and along the side perimeter of the home. There are no cameras inside.
* For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
* One of the bedrooms has a single-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to three people – we think it might be best suited to children.
