A third-floor lookout tower crowns this 30A house, offering sweeping Gulf views and panoramas of a rare coastal dune lake that sits right alongside the neighbourhood. The beach itself is a one-minute walk away, with local shops and the community pool just as close. Four complimentary bikes make it easy to ride further afield along 30A, while the covered front porch and wraparound lounge area give you plenty of spots to settle in when you're not exploring. Inside, you'll have your pick of two living spaces – one for adults and another for kids – plus a collection of comfortable bedrooms to unwind in after a day on the coast.

Home truths:
* The fourth bedroom has two double-over-double bunk beds – we think they might be best suited to children.
* You'll have access to the on-site swimming pool here. It's shared with the community's other residents.
* You'll have driveway parking for up to three vehicles on-site. The garage is reserved exclusively for owner use and cannot be accessed during your stay.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
* Your host provides four adult bikes to get around the community with ease.
