Planted in the heart of Grayton Beach, this house sits just a short stroll from the award-winning shoreline and steps from Western Lake – one of Florida's rare coastal dune lakes – with protected state parkland right alongside. Every bedroom has its own en-suite with a private balcony, so larger groups can spread out without feeling on top of each other. The private pool and terrace are perfect between beach runs, while the top-level deck draws everyone together at sunset for Gulf views. Six complimentary bikes and a golf cart make exploring the 30A coastline effortless, too.

Home truths:
* One of the bedrooms has a double-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to four people, plus an additional single-over-single bunk. We think this room might be best suited to children.
* Your host provides six adult bikes and a six-passenger Low Speed Vehicle to get around the community with ease.
* The walk to the beach is short, but the sand is very soft – you'll find it much easier to haul beach gear with a wagon with large wheels rather than carrying it by hand.
* There's free parking for up to eight cars on the driveway.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
