Back at the house, walnut floors and screened-in porches keep things grounded after a day outdoors, and a second-floor sun deck sits above the tree canopy for those quieter moments when all you need is a breeze.

* To access the WaterColor Beach Club pools and amenities, every guest aged five and older needs a wristband – and this home is allotted ten in total. Make sure your full party, including older children, is counted in your guest total when you book.
* Bath towels and linens stay at the home – you'll want to pack your own beach and pool towels for days on the sand.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on trundles in the fourth bedroom.
