Blue Mountain Retreat

A five-minute walk from Blue Mountain Beach's sugar-white sands, this home is built for groups who want the best of both worlds – easy beach days and a private pool to come home to. The covered patio and gas grill make long alfresco evenings effortless, while the generous living and dining areas keep everyone together when you're not outside. Included bikes open up the wider Scenic 30A trail network and its coastal neighbourhoods, and there's driveway parking for up to four vehicles if you've arrived by car.

Home truths:
* While the third bathroom isn't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the bunk bed in the living area.
* One of the bedrooms sleeps four people on a bunk bed and a sofa bed – we think this room might be best suited to children.
* There's free parking for up to four cars on the driveway.
* Beach and pool towels aren't provided here – you'll need to bring your own, as bath towels must not be taken from the home.
* Between May and October, nesting sea turtles use the beach at night. You'll be asked to keep balcony and porch lights off after dark and to close your blinds – a small adjustment that makes a real difference for the local wildlife.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
