If the Vatican is top of your Rome sightseeing list, then this apartment – just a twenty-minute stroll away – is in a great spot. Located in vibrant Trastevere, you’ll find cobblestoned streets, artisan shops, and lively piazzas in the neighbourhood. Back home centres around the open-plan living area, where guests three and four will sleep at full occupancy. The kitchenette has you covered for snacks and light bites, and come dinnertime, we suggest heading to one of the local trattorias to sample some traditional Roman cuisine.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchenette is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 8am.
*Parking in Rome can be tricky, so we recommend exploring on foot or sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
