Perched directly above a quiet, swim-friendly stretch of Pacific coastline near Punta Mita, this villa is built around the ocean in every sense. The pool terrace sits close enough to the water that you can hear the waves break below while you swim, and the dining terrace above makes long, unhurried lunches feel like the only reasonable way to spend an afternoon. In winter, humpback whales breach in Banderas Bay directly in front of the house. On-site staff – including a chef cooking with fresh local ingredients – mean the hardest decision each day is whether to kayak from the beach or simply stay put.
Home truths:
* The villa's on-site staff speak Spanish only. The house concierge acts as the bridge between your group and the team, but if everyone in your party speaks only English, day-to-day communication at the villa will need to go through them rather than directly with staff.
* For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
* The swimming pool isn't fenced.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
