Whether you’re drawn to land or sea, this villa gives covers both, just 8 km from Rethymnon and 3 km from the Mediterranean coast. There’s plenty of space to relax outside, with a pool surrounded by olive trees for afternoons in the sun. Step inside the stone walls and you’ll find room for up to eight guests, though two will be sleeping on a sofa bed. We love the arches, adding character without feeling too traditional. Beyond the villa, Prines Village is a short walk away and offers a glimpse into everyday Cretan life, with local cafes, small shops, and the best kind of people watching, led by the village yiayias.

*The swimming pool isn't fenced. You'll need to keep an eye on little ones at all times.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.
*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
