A two-level apartment in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where exposed wooden beams and an old fireplace give the living room a warmth that feels distinctly Parisian. Come evening, you can retreat to the home cinema room on the lower level for a film, or sink into the Jacuzzi bathtub after a long day on foot – the Eiffel Tower is reachable in around thirty-minutes from the door. Le Bon Marché and the neighbourhood's cafes are moments away, yet the apartment sits on a quiet street, so there's calm to come back to.

Home truths:
* This is a quiet residential street, but as with many older Paris apartments, sound can carry – you may catch some street noise or neighbouring activity during the day.
* There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home and move between floors.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. It's worth requesting these in advance to make sure everything is ready on arrival.
* As is common in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
* At full occupancy, three guests will sleep on sofa beds in common living spaces.
* While the home can sleep up to eight people, the maximum occupancy is seven guests.
* Well-behaved pets are welcome to join you upon request, for no additional charge.
