A bright, air-conditioned apartment in the 8th arrondissement, three minutes on foot from Charles de Gaulle Étoile and its connections across the city. The Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées are an eight-minute walk away, while Parc Monceau – one of Paris's most elegant green spaces – is a ten-minute stroll in the other direction. Back inside, the living room is light-filled and comfortable, with a dedicated bedroom – offering some welcome distance between the dining and sleeping areas.

* This is a compact apartment best suited to two guests who plan to spend most of their time out exploring the city.
* The lift only goes up to the fifth floor – you'll need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the apartment on the sixth floor.
* You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
