Sip your morning coffee at the marble effect breakfast bar or nip downstairs to the nearest patisserie and treat yourself to a freshly made croissant. When you’re ready to explore, refer to the guidebook provided by your hosts or simply start walking and see where the day takes you – a westerly stroll along the Seine will bring you to the Louvre, while a wander in the opposite direction will take you right into the heart of Le Marais, Paris’ oldest neighbourhood. However you decide to spend your day, we recommend finishing it off with a long soak in the master bathroom, followed by a cool glass of white wine in front of the ornamental fireplace.
