Description Shingle & Shoreline: Panama City

Tucked inside a gated community on Florida's 30A coast, this shingle-style house is built around the kind of unhurried days that beach trips are supposed to deliver. A private pool and fire pit anchor the outdoor space, while the screened porch gives you somewhere to sit when the evening air turns warm and still. Beach access is a five-minute walk, and four bikes plus a golf cart make getting around the community effortless. When you need more of the wider coastline, Rosemary Beach's cobblestone streets and boutiques are a thirteen-minute drive.

Home truths:
* Bedroom three has a single-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to three people. We think it works best for children.
* The loft area has a king-size bed and a single bed, sleeping up to three people. This is a communal space rather than a dedicated bedroom.
* Bath towels and bed linens are provided, but you'll want to pack your own beach and pool towels – the ones in the home are not to be taken outside.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
