Perched on a hillside in Avlia, this villa serves up spectacular views – a full sweep of Naxos and the Cyclades that you can take in from the terrace, the infinity pool, or from the private veranda off each of the three main bedrooms. Stone terraces climb into the Cycladic landscape behind, three pergolas shade the alfresco dining and sitting areas, and a separate annexe with its own bathroom offers guests added privacy. Naxos Old Town, with its Venetian alleys and hilltop castle, is a twenty-seven-minute drive.

* The accommodation here is set across the main house, which has three bedrooms, and a separate one-bedroom annexe with its own kitchenette.

* You'll need a car to get around – the villa sits on a mountain slope above Avlia and is not within walking distance of shops or restaurants.
