The private pool and adjoining cabana room make it easy to drift between a swim and a cold drink, while the expansive deck is the natural place to gather for alfresco dinners as the evening cools. Six complimentary bikes open up Scenic 30A and nearby Destin, and partial Gulf views from the living spaces mean the coast is never quite out of sight.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, at least two guests will sleep on the two built-in bunk beds in one of the living areas – these sleep up to four people and are best suited to children.
* Bedroom four sleeps four guests in two single-over-single bunk beds, and bedroom five sleeps four guests in two double beds. We think these rooms are also best suited to children.
* You'll find parking for three vehicles on the driveway – if your group is arriving in more than three cars, you'll need to make alternative arrangements.
* There is an exterior camera on the balconies for safety monitoring – your host can turn it off if you'd prefer more privacy during your stay.
* While the home can sleep up to eighteen people, the maximum occupancy is sixteen guests.
* The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
* There is active construction in the vicinity of the home – it's worth checking with your host for the latest situation before you arrive.
