Beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a cooler are ready to carry down to the sand, with direct beach access steps from the building. South Beach is a twelve-minute drive, and a heated outdoor pool – consistently quiet – waits when you'd rather stay close to home.

Home truths:
* The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a double bed below and a single bed above. There's no window, so it works well for children or teens but may feel quite enclosed for adults.
* Laundry is done in a shared card-operated laundry room on the same floor – there's no in-unit washer or dryer, so bring change or a payment card.
* One complimentary valet parking space is included with your stay. If you're travelling as two cars, additional valet parking is available at extra cost.
* If you're travelling with a baby or toddler, your host can provide a cot and high chair. A pushchair is also available at the apartment. It's worth requesting these ahead of arrival.
* The nearest cafes and restaurants are a short drive rather than a stroll – we recommend stocking up at the nearby Publix supermarket so you're set for relaxed mornings in.
