Taunton has a full range of supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Lidl, Aldi), high street shops, restaurants, a cinema, the Brewhouse Theatre, and Musgrove Park Hospital. The town centre has a pleasant pedestrianised shopping area and a lively indoor market.
