The living room, with its gas fireplace, makes a natural gathering point after a day on the slopes or the trail, and the deck – shaded by towering pines and warmed by an outdoor heater – is easy to linger on come evening. A games room with a pool table keeps things going after dark, and a third bedroom kitted out with a bunk bed and toys means younger guests are well looked after. Northstar Resort is under ten minutes by car, and Kings Beach itself is a five-minute drive away.

* You'll have space for up to four cars on site – one in the garage and three in the driveway. It is strongly recommended to travel with a 4-wheel drive and snow chains during the winter season.
