Converted from stabling quarters, this Kingham cottage carries its history with a modern twist – think exposed beams, an open fireplace, and French doors that open straight onto a sun-warmed terrace. What really sets this home apart, though, is the shared access to a traditional Turkish hammam, an indoor heated pool, and a tennis court, all set within five acres of manicured grounds. Local pubs are both within walking distance, a farm shop is just a short drive away, and the must-see Cotswold villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Moreton-in-Marsh are all within a ten-minute drive.

Home truths:
* You'll have access to the on-site tennis court, indoor swimming pool, and traditional Turkish hammam here. They're shared with the estate's other residents. The pool is open daily between 7:30am and 8:45am, with an exclusive one-hour slot allocated to each property on-site.
* The third bedroom is on the ground floor. It has an en-suite wetroom with wheelchair access. If someone in your group has limited mobility, please contact your host to discuss your requirements ahead of your stay.
* The second bedroom features a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be arranged as two single beds upon request.
* Your host can provide a cot, high chair, and stairgate for little ones upon request – just bring your own cot linen.
* There’s free parking for up to two cars in front of the cottage. You'll need a car to make the most of the area.
* If you're planning to use the tennis court, remember to bring your own racquets and balls – none are provided on site.
