From the top-floor corner suite, the Pacific stretches out in every direction – and with a private lanai perfectly angled for sunset watching, there's little reason to be anywhere else come evening. Mornings are just as good: take breakfast above the treetops as the ocean settles into view. Back inside, the living and dining areas keep those same Pacific views front and centre. The resort grounds deliver plenty to fill the days in between – a pool ringed by tropical gardens, a spa tub, koi ponds, and a fire pit. Magic Sands Beach is a seventeen-minute walk, with Kona's waterfront, restaurants, and shops close by too.

* To reach the apartment, you'll walk to the end of the breezeway and climb six steps – the building does have an lift, so you can avoid the stairs if needed.
* Your host has stocked an initial supply of soaps, cleaning supplies, and paper goods, but you'll likely need to pick up extras during your stay – there are shops within walking distance along Aliʻi Drive.
* It's customary in Hawaii to remove your shoes before entering a home – your host asks that you keep that tradition here.
