Perched at 7,300 feet in the pine woods above Incline Village, this dark-clad cabin is the kind of place where slowing down happens without effort. Tall pines press in on every side, framing the upper deck and the hot tub – which connects directly to the main bedroom – in something close to solitude. Inside, the kitchen and family room sit on the upper floor with filtered lake views, while every bedroom mattress adjusts to your preference, a detail you'll notice after a day on the slopes at Diamond Peak. Incline Village's private beach on Lake Tahoe is about eleven minutes by car.

* You'll need a car to make the most of your stay. The driveway fits two vehicles; in winter, street parking is not available, so plan accordingly if you're travelling as a larger group.
* If you're visiting in winter, four-wheel drive or snow chains may be necessary to navigate the roads safely.
* The outdoor barbecue, gas grill, and fire pit are seasonal – availability depends on snow levels and the time of year, so they may not be accessible during a winter visit.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the Murphy bed in the living area.
