Tropical palms shade this single-level Hollywood villa, where the private heated pool and terrace are the natural centre of gravity for any group. Beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler are ready to grab on your way out – Hollywood Beach is just four-minutes away – and when you're back, the barbecue is waiting by the pool. Inside, the bright living space has room to spread out, arcade machines provide entertainment, and Miami is around twenty-five minutes by car when you want a change of scene.

Home truths:
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
* You'll have a driveway that fits two cars plus a one-car garage – three spaces in total. No street parking is permitted.
* The heated pool is a big draw in cooler months, but if you're visiting in summer you may find the water too warm. A few guests have found it more comfortable after turning the heating off for a day – worth keeping in mind.
* If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair. You'll need to request them in advance.
* If you're planning to cook for a full group of six to eight, it's worth bringing a few kitchen basics with you – some guests have found the cookware selection a little light for larger meals, and pantry staples aren't stocked. Extra toilet paper and paper towels are also worth packing.
* The lead guest must be at least 21 years old.
