There aren’t many apartments in Florence that can boast a two-minute walk to the Duomo – and this home is one of the lucky few. Its tall windows look out to the bustling street below, and the high ceilings with their intricate mouldings serve as another reminder that you’re in the cradle of the Renaissance. It's a bit on the smaller side – the kitchenette doesn't have an oven, and the single bed in the living room is tucked under the stairs – but it’s a small price to pay given the location. Walk outside you’ll be right in the heart of Florence, immersed immediately in the very best the city has to offer.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. As the bedroom is located on the mezzanine overlooking the living space, there won't be much privacy.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*The building has a lift, however there are five steps leading up to it.
*Well-behaved pets up to 11lbs are welcome to join you upon request.
