With views over the Barle valley, wild red deer grazing from the neighbouring woods and Exmoor ponies in the fields next door it is a wonderful tranquil place to relax. The coast to the north at Minehead (with a steam railway) is within a 20min drive and many wonderful long sandy beaches to be found further west at award winning Woolacombe and Saunton Sands.
