Steps from the villa lead down to a secluded bay, and water taxis from the beach connect you to Amalfi and Positano whenever you're ready.

* Getting to and from the villa involves a notable number of steps – this is built into the experience of staying on the Amalfi Coast. The walk down to the beach involves a good number of steps too – equally worth knowing for the climb back up. Most guests find the beach and the restaurants at the bottom well worth the effort.
* The sofa on the lower floor can be converted into a double bed upon request. Let your host know in advance if you'd like that arranged before you arrive.
* The kitchen is compact and a little dated, though we think that's part of the charm.
