Lake Como lays itself out in front of you from almost every corner of this apartment – through the living room windows in the morning, across the balcony at breakfast, and beyond the dining room doors at dinner. The main bedroom also has two windows, one of which boasts a direct, unobstructed view of the lake. Original artworks bring a distinctly gallery feel to the living space, while a private chef and boat tours on the lake can be arranged through your host. Como Cathedral and the town centre are a twenty-minute walk away, while the historic funicular up to Brunate is less than ten minutes on foot.

Home truths:
*There may be some more noise than usual due to a nearby construction site on weekdays between 7:30am and 4pm.
*The apartment is on the second floor with no lift, so you'll be carrying luggage up two flights of stairs on arrival and departure. If anyone in your group has mobility concerns, it's worth bearing in mind before you book.
* At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
* The laundry room is one floor up from the apartment in the shared attic, reached via the communal staircase. It's available for your use, though your host may occasionally need access with advance notice.
* Included parking is in a secure garage 80 metres from the apartment, accessed via a car lift. The space suits small to medium-sized cars only.
